Chunk Update Progress (new prebuild available)


tl;dr new prerelease available with saving and loading for your worlds

Hello all,

0.4 is turning out really well, and while it doesn't really change the gameplay much it's a huge update for Boom.

Since the first prerelease for the update I've been working on speeding up the chunk generation and adding saving/loading functionality. Since the last prerelease I've multithreaded world gen and that of course sped it up a lot. I also just sped up some of the other things with chunks so loading new chunks should feel smooth.

I added saving and loading after this and it's pretty good but loading a lot of pre-saved chunks can cause more noticeable lag at the moment. I had to fix many different crashes and freezes but I think everything should be good now.

Before I release the final version I want to let the player name their saved worlds, delete them, and see how large they are. I also plan on adding a new world customization menu (choose seed and some preset settings for flat world vs hilly vs spiky vs fully random).
